Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?
Los Angeles, CA, generally therapy sessions will be in person. In the state of California, I offer teletherapy. For out of state clients, I offer pain coaching via phone sessions and zoom sessions.

How does coaching differ from therapy?

With therapy, I generally work to help people have a deep understanding of themselves. Additionally, we work through past trauma. The work usually lasts much longer if the person chooses to work towards self-actualization. With coaching, we have a specific goal in mind which is usually symptom alleviation and the work is more time limited.

Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance.

Is my information confidential?
The law protects the relationship between a psychotherapist and client and information cannot be disclosed without express written consent. The only exceptions to these protections are when there is suspected child/elder abuse or neglect or when the patient threatens serious physical harm to self or others, in which case every effort is made to ensure the safety of those affected as required by law.

What is your cancellation policy?
I request that 24 hour notice be provided for any scheduling changes, including cancellations. Less than 24 hour notice will result in the charge of the full session rate.

How long are sessions?
45 minutes
